Efficiency meets diversity
This highly automated book solution enables efficient production from a run of 1 – with variable page numbers, book spine lengths, and semi-automatic folding pattern changes in under three minutes. The optimized Plowfolder and the new vacuum signature transport process paper qualities of 40 to 160 g/m² and up to a thickness of 150 µm. The excellent book block quality with perfectly straight, flat blocks is ideal for softcover and hardcover applications. Signatures printed in 4-up, 6-up, and 8-up production can be processed thanks to the new multicut function, even from different paper types. With up to 2,000 book blocks per hour in perfect FIFO order, this solution sets new benchmarks in digital book production.
