As the market changes, the industry adapts to the media competition. The interlinking of different media channels opens up interesting opportunities. Print maintains a good position in the media mix, since it provides the advantages of trustworthy content, proven media and distribution channels, and the faithful transmission of market messages.
The feel of printed matter and freedom of the reader in terms of time, space and location make print unique. At the same time, print products are becoming the main point of departure for breathtaking, multimedia communications experiences, offering direction in the digital information overload.

Sustainability
Sustainable Production with the smart factory
With the smart, on-demand production made possible by the Smart Factory from Muller Martini, we make the difference in sustainable processing. Production, transport, and disposal of the finishing equipment account for only a small proportion of the carbon footprint of a print product. Over 90 percent of the entire carbon footprint of a Muller Martini machine occurs in the utilization phase – which is why our focus is on reducing paper waste and energy consumption. The Smart Factory is the best way to achieve this. In the Smart Factory, only products that have already been sold are produced on-demand. Sustainability plays a key role in Muller Martini’s strategy and actions.
Muller Martini is committed to making changes where positive impacts can be measured – we’re not interested in empty promises or greenwashing.
