The RF 700 backgluing machine, which is used for gluing and lining thread-sewn book blocks, can be configured as a 30- or 70-cycle/minute line. A 30-cycle machine can – under certain conditions – be expanded to 70 cycles if market requirements change, thanks to Muller Martini’s modular system. This means that the customer not only has the fastest gluing machine on the market, but also a high level of investment protection. The RF 700 can be used in book production lines with upstream and downstream presses (up to 150 kN press force) for perfect book block shape and quality, but can also be configured as an offline solution.
Depending on the requirements, the RF 700 can be configured individually and modularly from an entry-level machine to a high-performance line.
At up to 70 cycles/minute, book blocks are glued to the highest quality via one- or two-shot gluing.
With the end sheet feeder and lining station, the RF is ideally equipped for the inline or offline production of high-quality hardcover book blocks.
